Sinovac & Sinopharm Booster Vaccine
As part of the nation’s vaccine booster programme, Sinovac-CoronaVac (CoronaVac) and Sinopharm has been authorised for use under the Health Sciences Authority’s Pandemic Special Access Route (PSAR) on 23 Oct 2021. A 3rd dose (booster vaccine), 3 months after the second dose of Sinovac-CoronaVac, has been recommended to raise waning antibody levels against COVID-19.

Note: Each individual is limited to only one booking. If booking on behalf of another individual, please fill up his or her details in the appointment booking form. We reserve the right to cancel any duplicate appointments without prior notice.
Who is it recommended for?
Individuals 18 years and older, who have completed their primary vaccine series.
Individuals who are unable to receive the mRNA vaccines due to medical reasons (e.g. Allergy to mRNA vaccines or myocarditis post-vaccination).

FAQ
While the primary series of the recommended COVID-19 vaccines provides good protection against severe disease, its protection against infection could decrease over time. A booster vaccination is therefore recommended to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection and transmission.
Sinopharm will cost SGD $44 (including GST) per dose. Sinovac will cost SGD $25 (including GST) per dose. Vaccination fees are currently not reimbursed by the government.
Yes, you may receive the booster vaccine 6 months after your 2nd dose of the mRNA vaccine. You may find out more about when you should get your booster jab from the table above.
Yes, you may receive the booster vaccine after you have recovered from an infection. A booster is not currently recommended for individuals who have been vaccinated with a combination of both mRNA and Sinovac-CoronaVac before the infection. You may find out more about when you should get your booster jab from the table above.
Individuals with two doses of mRNA or Sinovac-CoronaVac are considered ‘fully vaccinated’. The additional booster dose will not affect your vaccination status but is highly recommended as it increases your body’s ability to develop a more protective immune response to reduce your risk of suffering severe COVID-19.

- Please wear a short-sleeved top, or an attire with sleeves that can be rolled up
- Please reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell.
Similar to the side effects of your first and second dose, side effects for the booster will usually be mild, and will get better within a few days. You will receive more individualised advice from our medical team, on how to manage the possible side effects, when you arrive on the day of your vaccination.
