- It is of utmost priority to preserve the meniscus. Arthroscopic surgery has advanced over the past few years such that most tears are accessible with arthroscopic keyhole procedure
- New all suture anchors for meniscus repair avoid irritation of the knee
- At StarMed, we are proficient in all-inside, inside-out and outside-in repair

A gastroscopy is a procedure where a thin, flexible tube called an endoscope is used to look inside the oesophagus (gullet), stomach and first part of the small intestine (duodenum). The endoscope has a light and a camera at one end. The camera sends images of the inside of your oesophagus, stomach and duodenum to a monitor.

A laparoscopic cholecystectomy helps people with gallstones that are causing pain and infection. This procedure removes the gallbladder and gallstones through several small cuts (incisions) in the abdomen. The surgeon uses one incision to insert a laparoscope, a thin tube with a camera on the end. The gallbladder then gets removed through another small incision.

An appendectomy is often done to remove the appendix when an infection has made it inflamed and swollen. This condition is known as appendicitis. The infection may occur when the opening of the appendix becomes clogged with bacteria and stool. This causes your appendix to become swollen and inflamed. During a laparoscopic appendectomy, the surgeon accesses and remove the appendix through a few small incisions in your abdomen.
