Dr Ong Kong Wee is a breast surgeon, with a clinical focus on the diagnosis and management of benign and malignant breast conditions.
Prior to joining private practice, Dr Ong was the Founding Head of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Breast Centre from 2014 to 2018. In 2018, he received a 20-year Long Service Award in recognition of his years of contribution to the National Healthcare System.
Dr Ong has been recognised for his efforts in patient care, with a special mention in the Customer Service (Healthcare) category at the Singapore Experience Awards in 2009, and received a Silver Award at the Singapore Health Quality Service Awards.
Having a keen interest in breast cancer research and medical education, Dr Ong has contributed to various medical journals, and was the Adjunct Assistant Professor at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School.
