Advances and Updates in Bronchoscopy

Bronchoscopy has evolved very rapidly over the last 10 years. Several additional tools have been incorporated into bronchoscopy from its first inception as an equipment with a white light & a camera only at its end. These additional tools are miniature ultrasound at the tip of bronchoscope (EBUS-TBNA), GPS navigation system to reach the abnormal lung lesion more precisely like driving a car (Navigation bronchoscopy), and robotic bronchoscopy.
