Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the world today. In Singapore, it is estimated that 1 in every 11 women here will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. However, through public awareness of breast cancer as well as the advancement in medical treatment, we have been able to improve the cure rates by at least 50% in the last 30 years.
