Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) has become a widespread condition in Singapore. This disease is usually misunderstood and under-reported because symptoms are often subtle and mild (e.g. diarrhoea, stomach cramps and abdominal pain which can come and go) resulting in a delay in diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
In our 6th episode of StarMed House Calls, we have invited Dr Christopher Kong, Senior Consultant, Gastroenterology and Liver Specialist at StarMed Specialist Centre, to raise awareness for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and how to manage it.
